![]() ![]() Continental breakfast was 45 minutes late and milk was sour. Was celebrating an anniversary, was disappointed in the accommodations. only other room available was a downgrade, suite to standard. original room smelled of sewer and cleaning chemical, broken toilet, bathroom lights didn't work. I had to leave thekey in my room, which sort of worried me. I also wanted to check out in themorning around 7:30, but no one was in the office. The doors are so cheap they have to be banged shut which means everybody coming in or leaving wakes everybody up. The in room fridge makes as much noise as a tractor and the light from the cable TV box keeps you awake all night. The rooms have paperthin Walsh and are very noisy. Breakfast was lacking fresh fruit and an area to sit and eat. I was not told the pool was not available to use. ![]() Carpet dirty, soap dispenser in shower didn't work, light switch didn't do anything. Rooms old and outdated and smelled of mildew. Pool was riddled with alge and closed off per some health advisory. Pricewas hiked the three nights we stayed there so it may have been worth themoderate rate but not the extra $100 per night. Late breakfast on Sunday, no Fox News Cable and limited channels. Prefer a larger space.but you get what you pay for -). There must have been a light out on the second floor near the stairs.Rather dark when we left, probably a safety issue that needs to beaddressed. Shower neck and toilet need to be stabilized. Room was too cluttered not enough room for a table and 2 chairs. refrigarator worked well!- air conditioner worked well. The worst hotel of a 3 week traveling holiday. Easy to get to, no hassle getting the room and checking out. Bed, pillows, table space, lighting, well appointed, location. It is clean, silent and the bed was really comphortable. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. * easy on my budget* comfortable, functional (everything I needed with no hassle)* quiet, relaxing. Excellent coffee in lobby, good continental breakfast. Quiet, clean, nifty soap and shampoo dispensers inexpensive. We were in Santa Rosa for a college graduation and just needed a place to sleep. Breakfast is Spartan and no area to sit inside. I like the soap and shampoo containersin the bathroom. all reviews ยป Nice room, quiet, good location. This one is superior by far! Their breakfast bar can't be beat.they even have espresso!!. My partner and I have stayed in many best value inns. Liked having shower separate from sink and mirror (no steamed up mirror). Great shower head with immediate hot water. Suite my purpose of staying at a budget motel style place with comfort.Restaurants, coffee shops & other shopping facilities close by. They have standard rooms but also suites and family suites with 4 beds! The staff was all very friendly and personable.Easy access from freeway, clean, well kept. There is a wide range of room styles too. ![]() The beds and linens are top quality and some of the rooms have recently been upgraded to hardwood floors (which I like), but carpeted rooms are available too. The hotel itself is unique and quaint without lacking the quality and care of a corporate hotel. The Flamingo has everything you could want in a hotel (outdoor pool/spa, bar, breakfast, grass, views, space, and access to one of the nicest spas in town with tennis courts, a lap pool, steam rooms, sauna, indoor spa, massages, etc. When you visit a new town, do you eat at Applebee's or Cheesecake Factory? I would hope you go to a restaurant with a unique flavor and atmosphere. I highly recommend for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. If you want to really experience Santa Rosa / Sonoma County, stay at the Flamingo. These days, it is very hard to find the caliber of quality well-trained staff and customer service that seem to be the "norm" at the Flamingo. We enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo and would definitely stay there again. The Manager Tony was wonderful, as well AND it was a bonus that he had traveled to our neck of the woods in Michigan. We were a short drive from the prime vineyards and the activities in town. The hotel itself has very nice amenities (pool, restaurant, manicured grounds, and access to a fitness center). Our rooms were comfortable, roomy and clean. She also made some excellent restaurant and sight-seeing recommendations. She was able to get us two adjacent rooms so we could enjoy our patios together at the end of a day of winetasting. We were greeted by Lisa who was warm and very knowledgeable of the area. We could see the pink flamingo atop the building,as we drove up and were not quite sure what to expect-perhaps, the Rat Pack. We traveled to the Sonoma Region as part of a wine country package with another couple,at the end of October.
